Laura D. Adams works as an Executive in Orlando, FL.  Her work since 1997 has been in the

floor covering industry as a business owner, business consultant, retail sales trainer, and marketer.

 

She received her M.B.A. from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.  And her B.S. degree

in Natural Resources was earned at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN.

 

Laura believes in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge and new experiences. She sees intelligence

as a function of one’s curiosity rather than as a limited genetic trait. 

 

The MBA Working Girl Podcast is a creative outlet that allows her to share knowledge gained

from both her career and formal classroom education.  Her mission for the show is to provide

tips and information to help world-wide listeners advance their business knowledge.

 

She is proud to be a descendent of Edward Doty who came to America from Plymouth, England

on The Mayflower in 1620.  She was born in Charleston, S.C. and enjoys trips back to the

Palmetto State to visit family.  She also loves reading, writing, listening to many podcasts, doing

yoga, traveling, boating, snow skiing, spending time on any beach, and watching good movies.

 

Laura moved to Mount Dora, FL in 1992 where she still resides with her husband, their yellow

lab, and their two laptops.
